Mechanical Shock test using half sine wave

Hello all, I need to perform a mechanical shock simulation for a box that is subjected to half sine shock of peak acceleration of 500 m/sec2 and pulse duration of 11ms. I am not sure what data to provide for the acceleration vs time graph which is required as input for transient structural. I tried to give a function a=a(max) *sin (pi*t/T) but I am not getting the desired graph. Please help me with how to define the input for the sim. Thank you.

      Hi

      See this post:

You can also use the tabular data and define the values in excel and copy paste them into ansys.

Thank you for the reply. I tried out the analysis by specifying the equation as shown in the figure for acceleration in transient structural and obtained the following graph for acceleration vs time. Now I need to simulate this for the following condition, can you please help me out with it.

3 shocks in positive direction followed by 3 shocks in negative direction of each three mutually perpendicular mounting positons of box for a total of 18 shocks. The rest of the conditions remain the same.
