SubscriberHello Everyone,
I have the following question concerning the VSEL command :
When using these commands, using ITEM-LOC for VSEL , what is the criteria for a certain volume to be selected when using the global coordinates? For instance , by defining VMIN -1 and VMAX +1, does the whole volume need to be included in the interval? Is it only required for the geometric center to be included? I'm applying these commands to multiple volumes and yet it seems some are selected using this approach while others are not, and I do not understand what the motive is. If someone has experienced this issue before please let me know.
Best Regards,

Couldn't you make a simple selection of volumes by the ID number associated with each volume?
-If it is really necessary to use ITEM - LOC, you have to be careful to be in the right location, all the times I have used this command, I have put myself in the workin plane (csys,4) and moved it to the desired location before making the selection. You won't be able to select just one part of the volume and leave another according to my tests, it will select the whole volume, so it is only necessary that this geometry is included in the range.

Thank you for the answer. Unfortunately I cannot use the ID numbers as the model I'm using is parametric , and therefore some volumes are created ( or not ) depending on the parameters I define. What I do find strange is that, depending on the dimensions of a certain volume , I can use the LOC item to select the location without selecting the whole volume , while other times this does not work. I was hoping someone would know what is the condition for a certain volume to be selected while using the LOC item .
