Mechanical APDL silent installation

  Hello, nWe have to plan a silent installation of ANSYS on many teaching workstations. We use ANSYS Mechanical APDL v2020 R2. The complete configuration of ANSYS APDL requires the modification of certain parameters after the initial installation of ANSYS products. Notably on the third tab of the ANSYS Mechanical APDL Product launcher interface where we have to check the option Use Shared-Memory Parallel instead of Use Distributed Computing. I wanted to know if this could be set in a silent installation and which configuration file was modified by this operation.nMany thanks in advance for your help.nBest regards.n

  The changes to the launcher are saved in the User %APPDATA%\Ansys\v202\launcher\profiles.xml. You would need to modify an install, save the Profile as default, and then export that .xml to each user's %APPDATA%\Ansys\v202\launcher directory.n
