It may be due to a missing ACT extension. Was the project made on another computer or by another user?n

I made the analysis on my computer, but I'm connected to the server of my university. I download and install the piezo-mems extension.n

I download the student version of Ansys, then I want to connect to the server of my university to use the academic research license on my pc. I specify the server machine in the ANSLIC_ADMIN Utility, but maybe I made some errors.n

Also have in mind that the ACT extensions (MEMS) is not supported for the latest releases (say 2020 R2), so it will not work without issues most likely. The last supported release for this extension is 19.1 or 19.2.nnErikn

I like the response that ekostson gave. If the rest of the Ansys products work properly, then the license server is not the problem, but rather an unsupported MEMS ACT extension at the later version. n
