maxwell trasient 3D hollow conductor source excitation error

I am having trouble getting ansys maxwell to simulate hollow conductors for a large 3D model with transient solution type. The error , including grammatical issues, is as follows:

"Source setup is incorrect. Please make sure the sum of currents in each full winding must be zero in the both stationary moving region, respectively."

Below is an attached image of an example single conductor's geometry. I have shown one full conductor with its coil terminal excitation plane visible (both set to transparent), as well as one extra coil terminal excitation plane that visualizes the current vector.

I don't think this is a limitation in Maxwell, I did a quick test with the following geometry in transient solver and it solved fine.

I suspect it's a geometry issue, please check if those turning area is connected properly.

The chamfers are connected. The model was created in NX using extrudes and imported to Maxwell. Attempts to use a fillet instead of a chamfer, as shown below, resulted in the same error.
