SubscriberHi,
For a simple Magnetostatic setup involving a cylindrical core and coil, when analyzing the force applied to the coil (Lorentz type), is it safe to assume that the results of the paremetric simulation correspond to the "thrust force" in a practical sense? or is there more to it? I am trying to understand the physical meaning behind the simulation results (Force_mag vs. Amp plot... attached my setup for reference).

Ansys EmployeeHi, if you are running paremetric simulation, the force calculation will be each individual static analysis. You can use transient, if you want to consider motion.
