Maxwell 2D Eccentricity Simulation Error — Band and Rotor Geometry Issue

(ANSYS Electronics Desktop 2020R1,Three Phase Induction Motor)

I created a maxwell2D model(from RMxprt). After I used ACT Extension---Maxwell Eccentricity, the model failed to Analyze All!!!
I have tried many ways to deal with the problem, but in vain. Can anybody help please?

      Description:
I am performing a 2D transient electromagnetic simulation of a three-phase induction motor in ANSYS Maxwell 2D (version 2020R1).
The stator inner diameter is 350 mm, and the rotor outer diameter is 347.8 mm.
I have applied an eccentricity of 0.165 mm along the +Y axis, by shifting the rotor (and its inner region) upward relative to the stator center.

      The model includes:

      • Stator (fixed)

      • Rotor (moving, grouped as “RotorGroup”)

      • Band (vacuum region for motion setup)

      • InnerRegion and OuterRegion (default vacuum regions generated by RMxprt)

The band is drawn manually, with:

      • Inner radius = 174.0 mm

      • Outer radius = 174.6 mm

      • Center position = (0, +0.165 mm) (same as the rotor center)

After assigning motion (rotational motion) to the band and running the transient simulation, I receive the following error messages:

[error] 'Band': Model moving objects must be completely within the band. [error] Geometry does not comply with pure rotation motion! (ErrAngle = 2.60945 degree) [error] Failed to recover circles.

      I have already verified that:

      • The band is a closed ring region (not lines or arcs).

      • The rotor and all its components are fully grouped in RotorGroup.

      • The band and rotor share the same geometric center (within 0.001 mm).

      • The geometry lies entirely in the same XY plane (Z = 0).

      Despite this, the error persists.

Could you please advise on the correct band configuration or tolerance requirements for eccentric rotor simulation in Maxwell 2D (2020R1)?
Additionally, does this version have any known issues when combining eccentricity and band motion setup?

      Plus:

      It’s Full Model, not 1/4.

origin BAND was a Full Circle, which cannot analyze with  error.

ChatGPT tells me it cannot be used in Eccentricity situation. Instead I have to draw a ring to take the place.

I deleted Band and it can analyze. But torque==0 and Currents are WAY TO HIGH
