A UDS (User Defined Scalar) is a function that can calculate advection and diffusion of a defined scalar and a UDM (User Defined Memory) is a memory that can store any number in a cell. Both are customizable in a UDF. The number used is specified by the user, but the maximum defined amounts are 50 UDS and 500 UDM. Note that defining many UDM and UDS will increase the memory consumption of the calculation. The values of the UDM are also stored in the data file.
