      Hi,nIn engineering data, when I select anisotropic elasticity, why I don't need to specify the poisson ratios?n

      I clarify the question: why when isotropic or orthotropic elasticity are selected, poisson ratios must be specified, whereas in the case of anisotropic elasticity poisson ratios are not required?n

      With anisotropic elasticity, the poissons ration is defined through the ratio of normal strain between two variables (x - y, y - z, z - x).nPlease see this post /forum/discussion/comment/59558#Comment_59558n
