SubscriberI have been having issues with hard drive space for CFX simulations. I obtained another drive to use to store data, and changed the settings for temporary and permanent files to the new drive. However, ANSYS gives the confirmation that this directory will be used for new projects, not for the current one. How do I make it save to the new directory for the current project. Does saving it as a new name count as a "new" project?

Ansys EmployeeHi Kevin,
Yes, If you are in CFX_pre you can choose the "Save Case as" option in the File submenu and choose the new directory, and then save it with a new name.
If you are in the CFX launcher, then just by specifying the working directory, that specific directory will be used for future projects.
