I am trying to simulate an assembly of a magneto-resistive sensor (AMR) with a bladedd disk in order to have an overview on position sensing measurement where I would like to plot the Voltage output of the sensor when the blades pass under it.
I was successful in following the exmaple in ANSYS maxwell so far, but they do not show how to extract the voltage in this case ( most of the example stop in the extraction the magnetic induction versus the angle ).
my IC is simple resistor bridge. input voltage is 5 volts.
my 2nd question is on how to control the rotation speed of the disk? I would like to change the speed and control the acceleration in the same time.

SubscriberI tried but It was too complicated for me as my geometry is not symetrical so it was kind costy to make this simulation.
I tried to use maxwell because of the availability of example and possibility to perform this type of sim both on static and transient cases.
this is the example I was following

I think thatI have to add a winding region inside the sensor vaccum where I assign an external circuit (I am not sure if I am correct).

I discussed this with our internal expert team and as per the discussion, the correct tool for your application is mechanical EMAG. This is because Maxwell could calculate the B field, and not simulate varied conductivity vs. B.

What I would like to extract is the Vout(time), what I am going to test is the vout variation because of the speed of the wheel rotation and passing through blade tips.
so if still my application should be resolved in the EMAG, I would apreciate any tutorial that guide me to achieve my objective.

This can be achieved by coupling Maxwell and Simplorer. We get H from Maxwell and send it to Simplorer for resistance and other calculations.
However, we do not have published examples or tutorials that can be shared on a public forum for this process. You can refer to the Ansys help for more information.
