SubscriberAfter setting up my account on Ansys, I downloaded Lumerical but have been having issues with getting it working.
My laptop is a MacBook, however, the version available via the website is Lumerical release 2021, and it does not support macOS. I found out that Lumerical release 2020 R2 is the last version of Lumerical that supported macOS but have not had much luck in finding that version on the internet.
I was wondering if perhaps you have some advice/solution to how I may get Lumerical working on my laptop, or alternatively, there is another similar software that I can use?

Ansys EmployeeYou can download this from the Lumerical customer downloads page, selecting the "Previous Release" from the drop-down menu. This version supports MacOS 10.12-10.15.
However, if you have a new ANSYS Lumerical license - this will require the 2021 R1 version. You can install a virtual machine on MacOS running a supported operating system.
