LSTC LS-Dyna installation steps after SERVICE STATUS is Running

      Installing LSTC LS-Dyna steps after installing a New Network License for Windows. I followed the instructions for installing a new Network License for Windows. I requested a license. Received the License File. Imported the License file to the server.Installed the LSTCLM.exe and started the service. The SERVICE STATUS is RUNNING. I verified the license and got the License Summary. I verified that Port 31010 is open for traffic.
      What are the next steps? How do I install the software on the server? How do I install client on the client machine? and how to connect client to the server?

      Hello,

      If the LSTC SERVER is running, now you will need only to downlad ls-dyna executable - https://ftp.lstc.com/user/download_page.html (username: user ; password: computer). Please note that for MPP ls-dyna you will need to install mpi, I would recommend downlading smp version. Each ls-dyna comes with the lstc client so no need to install it on the client machine.

      To connect ls-dyna to license server please set up the enviroment variables to:

      LSTC_LICENSE = network
      LSTC_LICENSE_SERVER = 31010@[ip-or-hostname]

      I highly recommend installing LS-RUN, which is included with LS-PrePost (you can download it here: https://ftp.lstc.com/anonymous/outgoing/lsprepost/). LS-RUN simplifies the process of setting up the license and running LS-DYNA. You can also find helpful tutorials for LS-RUN 1.0 from Dynamore on YouTube.

      Please let me know if that helps,
      Thank you,
      Alex
