SubscriberHello everyone,
I'm a beginner in LS-OPT and I'm trying to practice on training examples. But every time I run a job, I get the same error message "No backtrace information avaible under windows". I've seen various solutions (no blank, or - in the main file...) on other forums, but none have helped. Do you have any idea what the problem is?
I'm trying to identify a parameter with an LS-DYNA solver, something realy classic.
Thanks

Ansys EmployeeDid LS-OPT try running ls-dyna jobs? Please see if it created a directory for the ls-dyna stage and then job directories (1.1, 1.2, etc) inside this stage directory. If it did, please check job_log file in 1.1 for the error. My guess is that you did not specify correct ls-dyna solver command in stage solver settings. Please select your local ls-dyna solver exe in the solver command field.

SubscriberHello, thank you for your reply.
Yes LS-OPT tries to run LS-DYNA jobs, it creates job directories (1.1, etc). In the job_log file, I have this message:
*** License problem ***
Network license :
***Error Could not run license client
Please contact, etc.
For the ls-dyna solver exe, I've selected the same as the one I use on LS-dyna. I'm supposed to change his directory, and put it in the same as the ls-opt project?

Ansys EmployeeYou don't have to move the ls-dyna exe to ls-opt installation, just make sure the solver path in the stage solver command is correct.
It seems like ls-dyna license client is not available in ls-dyna exe directory. Are you using Ansys or old LSTC license? Please make sure you have ansyscl.exe (for ansys license) or lstc_client.exe (for lstc license) available in the solver directory.
