Issue: LS-DYNA MPI processes hang and become ghost/defunct processes after a LS-DYNA simulation with normal and error termination. This prevents any subsequent programs from starting.

Environment:

• Dyna Version: ls-dyna_mpp_s_R16_0_0_x64_centos79_ifort190_sse2_intelmpi-2018_sharelib
• Input K File: box.k
• Operating Systems: WSL 2 with Ubuntu 22.04 and native Linux (Ubuntu 22.04)

Details:

• The issue is reproducible on WSL 2 with Ubuntu 22.04 and native Linux machines. (screenshots are attached for both configurations)
• LS-DYNA processes become  when closing MPI processes.
• Using mpirun with the verbose flag (-v) shows the hanging processes.
• The problem does not occur on WSL 1, which closes properly.
• The issue also happens when I get an error termination 
• When using Dyna Version: ls-dyna_mpp_s_R16_0_0_x64_centos79_ifort190_sse2_intelmpi-2018, the process hangs in the beginning of the run

Attempts to Resolve:

• Environment variables for MPI were corrected, but the hanging issue persisted.
• Multiple runs were conducted, demonstrating same errors with different CPU configurations.
