      Hello,

I am running my simulation on HPC using interactive graphics mode using LS-DYNA CESE solver. I am getting the following error and the run terminates instantly. Could you please help to resolve the issue?

forrtl: severe (174): SIGSEGV, segmentation fault occurred.

      ERROR

      Regards,

      Atish

      Hello,

The below link should be useful in case of Segmentation error.

      Hello,

I am able to run simulations using SMP double precision solver. I get an error when switching to MPP  double precision solver. Simulation is run on linux using graphics interactive mode.

      Regards,

      Atish

      Hello Atish,

Can you try changing a few of the contact-related settings (maybe changing the type or the scoping a bit)? This has helped in the past.

Also, is it possible to try this in another version of LS-DYNA?

      Thanks,

      Akshat

My simulation doesn't have any contacts. I am using LS-Dyna fluid solver.

      Hello Atish,

      Sorry, I missed that part.

What main keywords are used in the model apart from the usual ones?

Also, can you try slightly changing some boundary conditions or mesh?

Also, does it help in case you use a different number of cores?

      Please let me know.

      Thanks,
