SubscriberHello,
I am running simulation using *CESE and *CHEMISTRY keywords. I am able to run simulation on double precision SMP but get errors while running simulation with double precision MMP. This error is related to chemistry convergence. My model has ~0.4million elements.
Regards,
Atish

Ansys EmployeeHello Atish,
Could you post a screenshot of the error message you get when running MPP dp?
Also, which solver are you using? Could you post a screenshot of the LS-DYNA banner at the top of the d3hsp file?
Reno.

Ansys EmployeeHello Atish,
Please try with the most recent version R14.1. Also, note that R15 will be released very soon (within a few days). If you have an email address you can share with me, I can send you a DEV version of the solver.
In addition, please check in all mesXXXX files for a more meaningful error message. Sometimes, a meaningful error message is written in one of the mesXXXX files. You will get one mesXXXX file per core run in MPP; so, if you ran on many cores, it can be tedious to check all mesXXXX files for error messages. You can use the following web app to upload all your mesXXXX files and extract the error messages automatically:
https://nagasairam112-check-dyna-errors-error-dyna-check-rq20je.streamlit.app/
Let me know how it goes.
Reno.

Ansys EmployeeHello Atish,
Have you found meaningful error messages in the mesXXXX files? If so, please post the error message here.
Thanks.

Ansys EmployeeHello Atish,
What error messge are you getting? Do you have Intel MPI installed on your machine? Try to point to the complete path for the mpiexec file:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Intel\oneAPI\mpi\2021.8.0\bin\mpiexec.exe" -np 4
Let me know how it goes.

Ansys EmployeeHello Atish,
I would try sse2 or avx2. For the MPI, it depends which one you have installed on your machine. If you use Intel MPI, then download LS-DYNA for Intel MPI.
Let me know how it goes.
Reno.
