SubscriberI am currently running a simulation of a human airway and using the LRN SST to model turbulence and I would like to know if the LRN option accounts for turbulence or if I also need to enable the gamma-transport-eqn? In STAR CCM, transition options are disabled automatically and their help states that LRN accounts for transistion. I just wanted to confirm if this was the same with ANSYS or not.

Ansys EmployeeHello,Â
If using the K-Omega Viscous Model with Low-Re Corrections turned on, that does not automatically turn on transition modeling. You need to manually select either one of the transition models from the Transition options.
Thanks,
Kalyan
