Log in license issue (Name Users)

      Log in issue on name user license....although my license is empty

      Hello Aliff Azrul

      I can see that Tecs for Ansys Discovery Simulation (Named User) has expired on date 2021-12-28, so you can only use Discovery versions released before this date. 

      You can download the previous versions.

      Also, as you mentioned the license is not activated on any device so its empty. Once you install and launch the Ansys Discovery, you will be prompted to log in with the email and password of the user account that has the license assigned. Once that's done the software should launch successfully and will get activated on that device.

      Hello Devendra Badgujar

      Actually, I'm using Ansys Discovery 2020 version at first and there is no issue at all. Since old email/user not active anymore, I change to my email, assigned the subscription and suddenly, this issue appear. 

      I try uninstall and install many times with different version and still, have this issue. Furthermore, the release button did not appear when I want to release the activation for different user.

        Please try the activating the license through Command lines and see if that helps.

        You will have to first release the license and then reassign; might be due to that it was not appearing. You can try activating the license on your machine and check if you can see the release button. 

        If not, we can look into it further.

        I have try activating through Command lines and it works! Thank you..

        But, only 1 release button appear (can refer to attached picture). How to activate another release button?

        Is there any steps that I missing?

        Subscriptions are assigned to users who have Ansys Accounts. Each subscription is assigned to a specific user but can be reassigned to a different user at any time.

        If you have been assigned an Ansys Discovery subscription, you can activate it on two devices at the same time.  As for your case, you can activate it on second device, and you will then see other release button.
