SubscriberI was trying to link the model I created in Ansys Mechanical to Ansys Twin Builder. There is not much material online on this.
Here is the manual of Twin Builder from the Help section:
- Create an Ansys Workbench/APLD structural system.
- Perform a modal analysis in Ansys Workbench.
- Export the reduced model to an SML file.
- Import the SML file into Twin Builder and place the Ansys Mechanical component on the schematic.
- Connect the Ansys Mechanical component pins to the other schematic components.
- Run Twin Builder analysis.
May I ask if there is any more information about the highlighted step? I can't find it on Workbench or the Mechanical manual.
Thank you.
Best,
Ted

Ansys EmployeeHi
See the video (2nd part modal analysis) that shows how to do this (use the macro ExportStateSpaceMatrices.mac used in the video).
