Limits on the number of merges

      I am duplicating in a linear pattern and then using merge to unify, but when I try to merge a third time, it does not respond at all. I would like to know the cause.

      Hi Yosuke,

      Can you please share screenshot of the problem you are facing? 
      If I understand correctly, you can box-select and combine the patterns in one go as well.
      Please check the attached screenshot.
