Hello all
I have ansys fluent simulation (conjugate heat transfer) and the system I am simulating have 5 components.
During my simulation for temperaure development of all components, I want to limit the maximum temperatuer of one of the component while the other componets keep increasing their temperature development.
how can I limit the temperature of one component while other components keep increasing?
Thank you for your vluable help on this.

Limit to a temperature or fix at a set temperature?Â

Hello Rob
My case is limiting the maximum temperature to be reached by one component in a system that contains five components. all components in my system develop their temperature as the simulation goes on for some time, startin from initial conditions. but after sometime, I wanted to limit the maximum temperature to be reached by one of the component while the other component keep on increasing their temperature (or changing as per the energy balance).

You may be able to do that with UDFs but what you then do with the excess heat is another problem. The FIX cell zone condition will set a zone temperature, but again that will have consequences for the remainder of the model. Assuming this is a real system think how that is controlled and once that's understood we can work out how to replicate the effect.Â
