      Hello!

I am just wondering if it is possible to uninstall modules of Ansys that I am not using.

Also, which workloads for visual studio 2022 is necessary to compile UDFs?

Not with Student as far as I know. The licenced version allows some modules to be uninstalled.

If you click "Use built in compiler" there's no need to install Visual Studio; after many years of asking for it a CLANG compiler was built into the code. I'm not sure which version we're currently supporting, but it'll be covered in some of the "Supported Platform" documents in ansys.com and then Support.

When I try to compile the UDF with the "Use Built-In Compiler" ticked, I get the error following error message:

Got any idea of what might be wrong?

Try moving the work to the local machine, but also see if you can compile the UDF from Fluent standalone. There's also the last part of the error re "group policy" so please check with IT if standalone fail too.
