SubscriberIn Rocky-Fluent coupling, lift force is available. However, only the contribution from the Saffman effect is documented in the manual.Â
Can the lift force due to the Magnus effect (i.e., lift force induced by the rotation of particle) be included? If not already in the package, can it be included using API programming?
Thanks!
Rui

Ansys EmployeeHello Rui,
Â
Yes, it can be included using API programming.
Reach out to Section 3.4.2 of Rocky API:Solver Manual (from Rocky client, click Help | Manuals | API:Solver Manual) for more details.
Â
Best regards,
Lucas
