AdministratorHello,
I'm new to Ansys Fluent. I'm modeling the flow over a sphere. I need help with estimating lift and drag forces. Can someone help?
Thanks.Â

Ansys EmployeeHello Karthik,Â
here is a tutorial on modelling flow around a wing, which could be useful to get you started: Chapter 4: Modeling External Compressible Flow (ansys.com).
The tutorial goes through the pre-processing/meshing steps, solver setup, and post-processing of the solution.

Ansys EmployeeYou can then use Force Report to monitor the lift and drag for your sphere: 41.5. Forces on Boundaries (ansys.com)
