Licensing error -88309 in ANSYS STUDENT 2021 R2

  I have recently upgraded my computer and tried to install the ANSYS STUDENT 2021 R2, however, when I opened the Workbench I could not find the static structural or ACP (pre) apps (I am working on modeling the composite airframe of a student-built rocket) on the toolbox. The only available components seem to be CFD-related. I can however see more options in the customization option, but I am not able to open them.

  Before searching, make sure that you select view->Show Hidden files, folders, or drives

  All the hidden and system files are accounted for. I still can't find anything that was modified in the future

  I managed to solve the problem. In case other people have the same issue you can look into this thread in the Flexera community forums
