SubscriberHi,
I acquired the academic/research license (for Ansys 2021 R1) from my university, and have entered the port and server information in the licensing client settings.
After testing the port, the green tick appears and I am told the license is up. However when I try to save the setting I have the following error:
"Could not set FlexNet Servers: undefined.undefined.undefined."
Any assistance/help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Nikhil

Ansys EmployeeWhen opening the Client Licensing setting, did you right-click and choose "run as administrator"
If not, do so.
The information is saved to a file named:
ansyslmd.ini
This file is located under:
Windows: C:\Program Files\Ansys Inc\shared files\licensing
Linux: /ansys_inc/shared_files/licensing
If the license server is a default install, the format would look as follows:
SERVER=1055@Servername
ANSYSLI_SERVERS=2325@Servername
Where "Servername" is the hostname of the license server
