Hello everyone, 

I am performing a non linear structural analysis in ANSYS workbench 19.1 on my university licenses and I received the following error:

 *** ERROR ***                           CP =    1868.234   TIME= 14:34:55
 The L-2 norm of the residual force overflowed.  This may be caused by  
 PRED,ON or birth/dead elements.  Please use PRED,OFF and try again.    

 

R E S T A R T   I N F O R M A T I O N

 REASON FOR TERMINATION. . . . . . . . . .DOF LIMIT EXCEEDED                     
 RESTART BY RE-RUNNING THE ANALYSIS

 ALL CURRENT ANSYS DATA WRITTEN TO FILE NAME= file.db
  FOR POSSIBLE RESUME FROM THIS POINT

 

 

I even entered the command suggested but still the simulation did not work. Since I am using a commercial license there should not be an issue of the number of elements as well which was suggested in one of the older posts.Thanks in advance for your help.

I tried the following the steps suggest in the link but even then I am getting the same error. 

I even tried using the birth/dead element commands but as soon as the second load step starts, I get the same error. 

How should I proceed.
