      Is there anyone who expert in ANSYS knows how to setup for Junker Test simulation for bolt joint. I need to simulate the self loosening of bolt joint due to vibration and any help would mean a lot to me as it would contribute greatly to my FYP. Appreaciate your response!

        hi there, thanks for the reply ya. So, i have to use transient structural instead of static structural for this simulation setup ?

      Yes. Bolts don't loosen under a static load if you exclude creep strain.

      do you have any more specific instruction or setup on how to create vibration for the simulation ? Sorry that i asked too much because im really not familiar with ANSYS
