SubscriberHello
I am using the fracture tool and I want to calculate the Stress Intensity Factors of a semi-elliptical crack.
In the Analysis setup i can choos, if I want to calculate the J-Integral or not.
What is the difference for the solution of the SIFS, if I calculate the J-Integral also or not:Because I got different reluts for J-Integral "yes" and "no".
Thank you for your time and work.
Best regards,Elena

Ansys EmployeeCalculating the J-integral should not affect the SIFs calculation. Please ensure that all other settings are consistent.
