SubscriberHi,
I'm quite new to ANSYS so I'm not sure if this is an issue with my model but I suspect its an error in the extension.
I'm using ANSYS workbench 17.1 and I downloaded the acoustics extension (link below), so that I could use the harmonic acoustics analysis:

Forum ModeratorHi Alicia, what material properties did you assign to the acoustic body under engineering data?nNovember 10, 2020 at 4:40 pmAliciaGardiner
SubscriberHi HuiLiu,nIt's the built-in values for air for ANSYS, so just density (=1.225 kg/m^3). The error message says I'm missing elastic data for the material, which is why I'm assuming it thinks the air domain is a solid body/ non-acoustic body.nViewing 2 reply threads- The topic ‘Issues with the acoustics extension ANSYS 17.1’ is closed to new replies.
