SubscriberHi,
while I run the model following instruction after page 5 of the tutorial, I do not receive the same values for meshing and it doesn't allow me to run it. It shows mistakes with pinball region.Â
I do not understand where this mistake comes from as I just update the model based on the presentation, follow the presentation.
I also do not understand the meaning for CFL.
Please, could you please take a look.
Thank you

Ansys EmployeeHi,Â
For the CFL, it is the Courant–Friedrichs–Lewy number that controls the maximum time step size in Explicit dynamics analysis to make the simulation stable. For more explanation and the expression, please refer to this page: https://ansyshelp.ansys.com/account/secured?returnurl=/Views/Secured/corp/v194/wb_msh/msh_char_length.html?q=cFL%20explicit%20dynamics
Ansys staff cannot download attachments from the website, can you share an image of your meshed model and the error message? Can you also show an image of the tutorial mesh? Thanks!
Regards,
Wenlong

SubscriberHello dear Wenlong, I have tried to run model 1 more time and managed, but then I have tried to update CFL and model has crashed.
It happens already several times.
Below is the tutorial
Â
And here are the screens of the tutorial with errors.
The last image shows the last error I get.
Could you please help with setting up this model and could you please clarify how those values from the table were calculated?
Do you recommend to use them further on in another analysis I will perform?
Thank you in advance!
