SubscriberI am attempting to export as a .dxf in HFSS, but regardless of how I go about it, I am only given graphics options (image formats only). The Help manual just says to use Modeler --> Export, but that clearly is not working in my case because it is being treated as a graphic when it is a 3D model. What settings do I need to change / adjust to remedy this?

Ansys EmployeeHello Carson,
The option of exporting to .dxf (and other formats, let’s say .gds .obj etc.) your 3D model,  should be available following the process you describe.
Let me ask a question; What version of HFSS do you currently use? Is it a student version?
Kindly,
Jason.-

SubscriberHi Jason,
Thanks for your reply. I'm currently using the latest release of the student version. Is this a limit of the student version? I was having trouble finding documentation on the differences of versions so I couldn't confirm for myself.

Ansys EmployeeHi Carson,Â
Unfortunately, the option to export a model as .dxf file in the student version isn’t available. ÂKindly,
Jason.
