Issue with NVH setup

      I used ansys 2023R2 version to learn how to calculate NVH. There some issues are as follow:
      1. I finished all setup when I compared the force calculation between moving1.Torque and MST_Torque, before starting to analyse, it can setup Airgap_arc (Angle is 45deg) as an edge. However, the software said "TAU: Surface Mesh Generation Failed." after I setup MST_Torque by fields calculator;
      2. It cannot setup Arigap_arc as edge of MST_Torque by fields calculator after finish all calculations because the button is disappear;
      3. The result of MST_Torque is wrong if the Airgap_arc cannot be setted as edge;
      4.There are some definitions that do not illustrate it, like SymmetryFactor. It cannot set the expressions in the field calculator if I don't get some definitions like these, which would affect my calculation result with other projects;
      4. The document (Maxwell NVH, Workshop 1:NVH Analysis Setup in Maxwell 2D) shows the result is 6% difference between Moving1.Torque and MST_Torque (fields calculation), but my result are only 6% and less 50% of the Moving1.Torque, which means fields calculation is 0.27Nm (2023R1), 2.1Nm (2023R2), but the Moving1.Torque is 4.3Nm.mesh creation failed if arc set 45deg

      Hello Shiyun,

            1. It is a meshing issue probably caused by several things. Could you delete mesh operation of CylindricalGap or make segments in Band? please check and modify geometries around Band and see if you can fix the issue.

            2. Line is edge, that I think we do not need to select "as edge".

            3 and 5. Could youd double check the field calculations for the torque and flux densities? I think you should get correct torque result in the field results.

            4. Could you check if you run all the parameters?

            Thanks.

        Thanks HDLI, I have addressed this problem, and it is a mesh issue causes several things.
