SubscriberDear experts! The format of my geometric model is sat, after importing into icem I define different parts. after my structure is modified and saved as a sat format file and then reimported into icem, do I have to redefine the parts again? The names of my modified parts are all the same, is there any easy way to avoid redefining the parts every time I import the structure?

Ansys EmployeeHello,
Why don't you create name the parts in CAD software itself instead of importing it in ICEM and then naming it?

Ansys EmployeeThanks for the response. Could you use SpaceClaim or Discovery to import the geomtery from AutoCAD and the name the parts?
