SubscriberAttached is an image of my geometry (a cylinder closed on one end and with a flange at the open end). In GEOMETRY it appears as intended but in the MODEL, it has the erroneous geometrical attachments highlighted in blue. Kindly advise on how I can eliminate parts surrounded by blue ink.
Do these erroneous geometry attachments have an effect on the simulation results in Transient Thermal?
Thank you

Ansys Employee,nCould you try meshing the part and see if this irregularity persists. If the mesh looks ok, (follows the actual geometry) you should be good.nnRegards,nIshan.nFebruary 8, 2021 at 2:14 pmWhiteney1991
SubscriberThank you Array. The geometry looks okay when meshed. However, the results obtained are incorrect...they give an error message of solution time exceeding CPU time. I have followed the thread of this error message and have commented to seek help. nViewing 2 reply threads- The topic ‘Is there a problem with my geometry?’ is closed to new replies.
