August 25, 2021 at 5:48 pmschwehrSubscriberDear Ladies and Gentlemen, For the processing of a study project, a flow simulation of water jet nozzles is to be carried out using ANSYS Discovery. I have already simulated the water flow through the nozzle as shown in the image. The simulation stops as soon as the water flow would leave the nozzle. Is it possible to simulate the following free jet of the water stream in the air? Thanks for the help.

Hello Alexander Schwehr
This is currently not possible in Discovery as in this case two fluid mediums come into play.
This can be simulated in other Ansys Workbench, Fluent.
