SubscriberDear all,nI would like to ask if it is possible to import time dependent temperature and velocity field in fluent for all cells in fluent. The reason is this, I have solved a 3D transient temperature and velocity field for a domain and now I want to simulate how particles will move with that field?? in a 2D plane of the previous solution.nAlso, If I import import time dependent total surface heat flux for all cells in the domain will it be able to give the exact temperature as before??n -

Ansys EmployeeYou interpolate data into your current session so that you use them as starting data, however I did not test that from 3D to 2D: Just give it a try.nI guess it is cleaner to just run your second case from scratch.n
