‘Invalid thread’ error with replacement mesh

      Hey all,

I've been using the same workflow with my simulations for a while now without issues, but since importing a larger mesh with some new boundary zones, I am running into errors I haven't seen before.

When I take the old, functional case and replace the mesh, everything seems to import and reassign without errors until I start creating the mesh interfaces (subsection shown with red/yellow labeled interfaces below). When I try to mesh any of the interfaces, I get one of the two following errors:

"Error: inquire-adjacent-threads: wrong type argument[1] (thread)"

"Error: get-thread: invalid thread id (integer) or name (symbol)"

I have tried exporting and reloading the case just before this error happens, in the hopes of remove any dangling associations left over from the old mesh, and then meshing the interfaces, but I run into the same problem. I don't know how to troubleshoot this because the error message is quite vague, so any help with this process would be appreciated.

Update - I have found a (sort-of) workaround. If I delete the mesh interfaces before loading in the new mesh, I do not have this issue. I think there is something about the mesh interface tool looking for/assigning zones to predetermined IDs/names if you have a history of mesh interfaces, regardless of what your new interface zone names/IDs are. However, some clarity on this topic from the moderators would be greatly appreciated :)

It's generally linked to the wall-12 etc labels that are generated as part of the interface zone.
