Interpolation methods

  What is the difference between the various interpolation methods under the profile tab in ANSYS FLUENT?
  
  There are three interpolation methods-Constant,Inverse distance & Least squares
  
  If we are having lesser data points and to have smooth curve between these points which method of the above should we choose?
