Internal heat generation

Hi all, I am attempting to model the cross section of a cylindrical battery cell generating heat and being cooled by an external air flow. At the moment i can only seem to apply the heat generation to the wall of the cell. Does anyone know how i can change the origin of heat generation from the wall to the centre of the cell cross section? below is a screen shot of my simulation. Any help is greatly appreciated.

      Hello Josh,

you can define a cell zone as a heat source by enabling the Source Terms tab in the corresponding cell zone dialog box.

See 7.2.7. Defining Mass, Momentum, Energy, and Other sources (ansys.com).

      I hope this helps!
