SubscriberI have to simulate a thin film delamination and since I have never simulated crack gowth or ply delamination usying the ansys Mechanical I started my studies by dowloading the manual and following the "Interface Delamination Analysis of Double Cantilever Beam" (ANSYS Mechanical Tutorials - 2016). Â
As shown in the image bellow, everything went ok.

The error message is very generic there might be several other reasons which is already mentioned in the error message. Could you please improve the mesh quality (aspect ratio) especially in the region where the element "5025" as indicated in error message.
