SubscriberHello,
We often get the message "Insufficient capacity" when starting the instance.
The instance is a g4dn.2xlarge in eu-central-1
It looks like the error appears when AWS does not have enough resources available.
How can this be prevented?

Ansys EmployeeHello Kai-Uwe, Thank you for reaching out. As you understand, this problem results in an error message indicating insufficient resources on the AWS side.
The main measures provided by AWS are as follows. For more information, please refer to the AWS blog below.Â
- Wait a few minutes, and then submit your request again.
- Submit a new request with fewer instances.
- Change Availability Zone
- Select different instance type.
- Create the Capacity ReservationÂ

SubscriberI know, but its the same issue in all Availability Zones, every day from approx. 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
And every time, I will try another zone, i have to set up the machine from scratch again. Thats a lot of time.We must be able to work fast and reliably.
Apparently, this is no longer possible with AWS.We have now set up a machine in our office again.
