      Hi,

I have tried to install the Ansys Student Software on my home PC, I have the correct specifications and space. I have downloaded the zip file, extracted it and then upon trying to open it i get the following errors

I was wondering if anyone could help me in trying to rectify this issue as I am trying to start my thesis. Thank you for your time.

      Aidan.

Can you check the size of the downloaded file?
Also, when you ran setup.exe, did you right-click on it and choose "run as administrator"

Do you have a virus scanner that could have blocked dll installation or access?

      The file is almost 13,500,000KB

I did right click and choose "run as administrator"

I do have an anti virus which is Norton I will try and look to see if that is the problem

Thank you very much for your help

Just a quick update I made sure to stop my antivirus interfering with the download and I am still getting the same error, is there anything else that I can do to rectify this?

      Hi,

I just installed Ansys Student and am currently experiencing the same issue. May I ask if you managed to solve it? And if so, how did you do it?

      Best regards, Flavio Salvatore.

I went back deleted all files in the various places that they were saved in both where added the zip folder and on the C drive. Then I retried it but I also downoaded the links given on this chat

      /forum/forums/topic/unable-to-load-dll-error/

It seemed to fully install then and I am not too sure which one it was that made it work but try both and hopefully you will get it.
