November 19, 2017 at 4:56 pmRaef.Kobeissi SubscriberHello Could anyone kindly help in telling me how to create a transient Inlet Pressure Profile.
I am familiar with pressure profiles in steady state cases where Time is not a variable but can we do the same with Time dependency?

 Cheers

November 20, 2017 at 12:42 pmMin Zhang SubscriberI have not ever performed transient simulations, but two methods may help.
1 you can create an Expression if the Pressure is a function of the time t. eg. P=101325[Pa]+10[Pa/s]*t (notice the unit)
2 your can set the inlet pressure profile using User Fortran. I just learned something about CFX User Fortran. It can obtain the transient information, set the boundary profile and so on.

November 20, 2017 at 12:48 pmRaef.Kobeissi SubscriberThanks Min, I know how to use a udf to do it but I was wondering if we can use a profile with a time variable.
 Thanks for your reply!
