SubscriberHello everyone,
modelling gas liquid flow in a channel using VOF and defining constant mixture velocity and constant gas fraction at inlet leads to constant phase distribution in the channel. I want to define a random scenario which can occur in the reality, which means for example a random distribution of a certain gas fraction at the inlet. I thoguht about UDF which loops through cells and sets a value for gas fraction. Overall the gas fraction resulting at inlet remains constant.
any ideas?Â
Â
thanks in advance,
 Monta.

Forum ModeratorPlease check the boundary condition requirements and how the VOF model works. Once you've done that have a look at the Eulerian multifluid VOF model.Â
