SubscriberI am working on are initial temperature problem using the transient thermal module.
To assign initial temperature in different locations,
- Calculate an initial temperature rise.Â
- Create little volumes in CAD for the intended temperature distribution.
- Create Named sections for each volume in the module. Â
- Assign an average temperature for each little volume using APDL command: CMSEL,s,volumename, and IC, volumename, TEMP, temperaturevalue.
Instead of performing the above, can ANSYS import using a temperature field function T(x,z) or T(x,y,z) as an initial temperature condition?
