You will need to create a Plane on the surface you are trying to (say) extrude. After you do this, you should be able to select this plane and provide a direction vector under the 'Extrude' operation. This will enable you to perform the operation successfully.

Ansys Employeeyes, you can do this.Â
select any face and then select extrude command.Â
as Karthik mentioned, you will need to create a plane to give extrude direction or you can also use any geometry edge for extrude direction.Â
