We have an exciting announcement about badges coming in May 2025. Until then, we will temporarily stop issuing new badges for course completions and certifications. However, all completions will be recorded and fulfilled after May 2025.

Improving mesh at thin area Contd..

      Dear Peteroznewman Sir,

This is a continuation of the previous thread: https://innovationspace.ansys.com/forum/forums/topic/improving-mesh-at-thin-area/

Sir, I haven’t received a response from you regarding my next question, so I’m posting it here again.

I am working on both structural and fluidic analysis for this model, but I am currently focusing on the structural part. For this, I am applying a 100 N load on the superior surface of the plate, while the inferior surface is fixed, in order to analyze the implant body.

I have attached two actual models for your reference. The small part (design 7) previously shared for analysis is from Implant-1. I have now generated a new model without the thin connecting area; however, I am still unable to mesh either model using your suggested method.

Please note that we have designed a porous scaffold where the holes serve as pores within the solid structure. Because of this, we cannot modify the shape or dimensions of the model—we need to preserve the original geometry.

If possible, I kindly request your assistance in successfully meshing both models.

      Thank you in advance sir
