SubscriberI'm having a problem when importing .sat file to Ansys Workbench. In Geometry window, all fine with the parts (5 parts: 4 beams and 1 core part). But when i open Model window - my parts get divided into smaller parts (see picture attached). Basically the beams get devided into smaller sections, not sure why. Maybe i have to import it somehow differently? or should i choose different settings in Model window?

Ansys EmployeeHiÂ
There could be multiple reasons for this. If the geometry errors are present in the SC then try to remove them.Â
1. Try to keep all 4 beam parts in the single component and core parts in the other component in the SC then transfer them into the mechanical.Â
2. I can see there are 5 parts under the carbon component in the geometry tree, try to suppress the extra bodies in the mechanical and see if it worked for you or not.Â
Best Regards,
